At MELA, Music Academy we provide individualized instruction in all music styles, including hindustani classical, carnatic classical, jazz and rock.
Our courses focus on understanding music through all of its various aspects by working on technical ability, theory and ear training. Students train under different faculty based on their levels thus being exposed to different styles and genres.
All our students receive instruction in music theory and lessons are offered in a traditional private one-on one format. We also focus on working in bands and ensembles, giving our students an idea of what it is to be a professional musician.
