Mela offers simple yet effective drum lessons for beginners that bypass entry-level pad training. Students get behind a drum kit during their first lesson to start learning how to play the drums. Through live classes via Skype or Hangouts, students will learn introductory rudiments to drum fills and solos.

Our expert drum teachers also guide students through advanced drumming techniques and training methods aimed at making them more skilled drummers. Advanced intermediary grooves, shifts and meters are taught and drilled until perfected.

Now students in every country and time zone can study with one of our talented music educators and performers. Students are no longer bound by geography!

Online lessons are available to anyone, anywhere. The only requirements are a reliable internet connection, your instrument and a video chat software such as Skype or  Google Hangouts.

Taking online lessons means no traveling to a teacher’s home, school or studio. No more lugging instruments around town and there are more options for scheduling.

We’re so confident in our service that we promise if your teacher isn’t the perfect fit we will match you with another instructor or refund any unused payments.  Also there are no hidden registration fees!
